How to start your online business using Facebook

I think if you are just starting out - you should do a couple of these things only.

One of the best ways to get started is on Facebook.
Start by developing relationships with people first.
Find out who is out there. Who know their stuff.
Also, get with people who are on the same path as you.
See who their friends are. Look at their videos. Study how they use Facebook.
Are they active adding friends? Do they write to their notes area or import a blog?
Do they write on other peoples walls? Do they refer others? Do they give what I call "back-handed" compliments?
That is, do they talk well about others to their other friends? I think that is more powerfull than pandering to the people directly. So many people want to get online and start selling to people they no nothing about.
With Facebook, you can find qualified people who fit in with what you are doing and where you are going.

Find your mentors on Facebook. See how they use Facebook and how often are they on there?
You can find right away whether you are putting in enough effort when you see how much others are.

Ultimately, don't spend tons of time agonizing over where to start. Pick one, spend some time learning the ins and outs of using the site and be a regular. Once you've mastered using one social media site, you can consider adding another one to your marketing mix.
