80% of my time is spent marketing online.
20% of my time is spent learning how to market online.

select 1 or 2 websites/blogs to market online
create and post content in articles, ezines, forums etc
use Web2.0 type websites to get you noticed by the search engines and web directories.
Use free traffic exchanges to get additional traffic
Use free safe lists to get additional traffic
Message boards & online forums
go back to step 2 and repeat

You can use forums and article sites to learn how to write articles. You can formulate your own article ideas by reading others and creating your own articles. As your write you not only get better at writing, but you also get a better understanding of the subject matter. When you write an article, you will submit them to the article directories and also mention the article in any posts to the message boards you frequent. Traffic exchanges, safelists and classified sites will teach you how to write little ads and to generate traffic quickly. Press releases are used to draw attention to your new site and blog or to your most recent articles.

This is all you need to do.But you need to do this on a regular basis.Your goal is to increase traffic every day and every week. If you just can't write - start with the traffic exchanges and the safelists above until you learn to write articles. Just make sure you check your sitemeter to see how you are doing.
